Sharing "Teacher Moments"

Friday January 31, a great group of student teachers came
together to ask questions and share experiences from the early
days of student teaching.  Some of the comments included:

• being asked if your are going to stay and be our fifth grade teacher!!
• facing emergencies on the playground with no other teacher support and coming through
• dealing with challenging content on student's ipad
• first graders cheating
• 7th graders who don't care
• being asked ....what grade do you want to teach????  because "you are awesome (from a first grader)
• teaching a unit on Napolean and having students do essays and reflecting on areas that students understood and areas that need reteaching!!!

The group was energetic, spontaneous and supportive of each other.  For those that where not able to join us - I am sure you have teacher moments to share as well.  If you have a "moment" that you would like to share.....add your comments below.
